You Me and the Dock is excited to welcome someone you may know as “Stan the Rose Man”, Stan Griep
Stan was born and raised in the farming community of Berthoud, Colorado. Here is where his grandmother introduced him to gardening and the caretaking of roses. Since then Stan has achieved the status of being a Master Rosarian. He was awarded and certified as an American Rose Society Certified Consulting Rosarian for Colorado – The Rocky Mountain District. Additionally, Stan belongs to many organizations like the Denver Rose Society, Northern Colorado Rose Society, American Rose Society – Shreveport, LA., and an honorary member of the Rose Society of Southern Australia.
Having 40 plus years growing many varieties of roses, Stan is qualified to be a “Cyber Consulting Rosarian” for the American Rose Society. He answers questions asked on such websites like Coloradogardening.com and Gardeningknowhow.com.
