Belize Pictures
Welcome to Belize
Our favorite morning place for that breakfast drink of champions is right on the beach at Estelle’s! Nothing like a great kick start to the morning.
Now this is the true meaning of a house boat.
I think the palm tree wanted in the picture also.
I am thinking that this palm tree needed a little help stretching out over the water.
My friend and I see it each other almost every morning before and after my snorkling workout.
This was the site of our
morning gym. The workout area was just beautiful and full of life!
Our Day Trip to Caye Caulker
The town of Caye Caulker is a colorful one that is filled with lots of history.
The streets of Caye Caulker are virgin to manmade roads with sidewalks and curbing.
Even the local police seem to be non-commercialized with their presence.
The tempered and turquois waters are a blessing on a hot day like today.
The leapin Lizard is a popular hangout for the locals, as well as the tourist.
The Lizard’s lagoon is a great place to relax and have your favorite beverage in hand.
Day trip to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley
Belize is home to the largest barrier reef in the western hemisphere covering over 190 miles.
Swimming with sharks is something I never imagined doing.
What a fantastic day snorkling with all the marine life in such beautiful waters.
Now we will spend a relaxing evening enjoying our beach front view while sipping on one of our favorite Central America beverages.
Lobster is plentiful around the islands. This one was our lunch on Caye Caulker. $12.50 USD with all the fixings. You can’t get any fresher than this. Red Lobster Restaurants eat your heart out.
Fidos (pronouced; fee-doe’s) was one of the oldest beach bars on the island, which in-turn just happened to be one of our favorite snack and watering holes.
Three weeks just flew by!
We said good bye to our snorkeling team, as well as the friendship we developed. The shop was directly in front of
our suite. We said also goodbye to the beautiful turquois waters.
And last but not least, goodbye to all of you who enjoyed our pictorial. We hope to see you again.
Be safe in all your travels and by all means enjoy life!
