About Us

Tequila on the beach

We love to travel and write about our adventures in hopes that it will encourage others to do the same. We also like to hear about others’ traveling experiences. It might assist beginners — as well as the seasoned traveler — decide where they to go next or start their new adventure.
Our love for exploring new places began when we started to watch the Travel Channel on Cable TV. We kept saying, “wish we could visit those places!” Finally, one day we made the commitment to do just that. We selected a few dates, which made us start planning our getaways. We started with just a week’s stay. Then we to planned 10 day stays. Then it rapidly went to two weeks. Before we knew it, we where working on a 90-day tour of Central America and the Yucatan Peninsula. We are not getting any younger and don’t want to sit around when we’re older and say would of, could of and should of!
We document and take plenty of pictures of our travels. Our adventures now take us all over the place, both in and out of the United States. I spent many hours listening to my parents tell me about their trips to Europe, Russia and U.S. destinations. Unfortunately, my parents never kept a journal. They stored all their memories in their head and took them to their graves. I wish I could have gotten their adventures in writing. We designed this blog especially for that purpose. We again invite you to share your vacations, explorations and exotic travels so we, too, can hear about places that we never have seen or been to.
I hope you find a little bit of entertainment in our writings, along with encouragement to get out there and see this big beautiful world we live in.
Best wishes on your next trip
